Some of Tim Cook’s mentorship learnings to attain success.
Identify the obstacles in the path to become successful- you have to pay attention to things that are stopping your path. Tim Cook says “Use your problems as an opportunity”. To achieve any goal, everyone has to face a lot of difficulties. One who crosses all the obstacles with ease attains success. Cooks says “worst thing to do would be to quit. Failure is just temporary, but quitting lasts forever.”
Focus on the current needs instead of new ones- Most of the time, many entrepreneurs get distracted by the urge to do something different and innovative. Innovation is good, but for that, you have to be focused. Actually, instead of wasting your energy in giving something new to people, you should take time on things that are needed in the market. Work to eliminate the gap between people’s needs and their fulfillment and this way you can become an important part of their life by bridging the gap.
Work in phases, Start small, think big and stay focused- A journey of thousand miles is only completed by combining many small steps. Do not worry about many obstacles at a specific time, Start working on the small things, concentrate on big one and should always focus on the end outcomes.
Give the best product and service rather than cheap product One person may be happy with the low value of buying a cheap product but if the product is poor then its disappointment will also increase. On the other hand, a good product can provide happiness in the right way. Develop a habit of focusing on not just cheap products but focusing on good products.
“KEEP YOUR EYE ON YOUR NORTH STAR, AND KEEP MOVING.”-Tim Cook, Apple CEO
