Born and brought up in Udaipur, Rajeshwari Narendran is a Director, Academy Of Human Resource Development. She also teaches at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur, A visiting faculty at IIM Udaipur, and also takes few sessions at IIM Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School. She is a Board Member International Federation for Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO) and also currently a member, Developing Countries Concern Committee, representing in UN Board.
She is a firm believer that the tough times and struggles in your life make you a refined & defined person. Early lessons of life have made her a strong person. It was a rough road that lead her to the heights of greatness.
Nothing could stop her in spite of the hardship days during the childhood which was filled with starvation and rejections by her relatives. Her positive attitude and moral values in life made her come out of all odds. Born as fourth daughter a rejection by birth but the belief of her elder sister ” She is born to fight” has always inspired her to fight and move ahead in life.
She got married at a tender age, early children coupled with extended family but Education was one which she continued. With the support of her husband, she could face the challenges at home and work. She was multitasking home, the profession as a teacher and pursuing Ph.D. working for nearly nineteen to twenty hours a day.
Her managerial skills and participatory skills applied at home and in teaching got her huge appreciations. These skills helped her move into a profession with a passion for Training and Development with Indian Railways and State Governments as her first client at the age of 21.
She used innovative ideas to conduct training which caught the attention of many corporate leaders, training institutions and professional bodies. She became the first Woman National President of Indian Society for Training and Development.
The Faculty Development Program was a turning point in her life which has made a huge impact by giving her the right direction to her career. The Faculty Development Program is so very well crafted which gives teachers the best exposure and prepare them for tomorrow. She strongly believes that teachers are the catalyst of change in the country and a teacher can do wonders.
The program was a game changer in her life and helped her grow in leaps and bounds. She has the distinction of being the first ever and youngest National President of Indian Society for Training & Development, New Delhi, India (2013-14).
She didn’t stop here, she planned and went to achieve a new height and went for the course GLOCOLL ( Global Colloquium ) for management teachers at Harvard Business School.
Dr. Rajeshwari is a popular trainer/ HRD Consultant and so far trained 55000 plus aspirants in India and abroad. She is Board Member International Federation for Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO) and also currently a member, Developing Countries Concern Committee, representing in UN Board and working for the development of Women in Leadership and Diversity policies at Global Level.
She has bagged numerous awards for her excellence like Samarpan Award -excellence in empowering women, International Best Paper Award on HRD practices, Maharana Raj Singh Award and Ambassador of Goodwill, GSE, California, NEBAA (USA), Vivekananda National Award for Excellence in HRD & Training 2009 etc.
Her work for the emancipation of rural and tribal women and Make a difference (MAD) initiative for rural and youth development have been greatly appreciated by the Government of Rajasthan, India
